Like a kid in a candy store, I lose myself every time we eat at UNO. Another UNO post, I know. I’m no stockholder or anything, I just love the restaurant, the food and the staff. I have yet to meet the chef though coz whenever we go there, he’s busy in the kitchen. Of course, what do you expect? But I wish to meet him one day and ask his background, his thoughts on food and life. Just kidding but I would really love to meet him.
So the last time we were there was two weeks ago. It was torture seeing the bread. I was still on my no-rice diet (I still am) so you can imagine the kind of self-control I had to impose on myself. All that for the freshly baked french bread. But like a kid, I went straight for one slice. Yes, just one slice and not one loaf. That was my prize for totally avoiding the rice. So what did we have this time?
Steak…this was huge and cooked perfectly. Medium well is perfect for me. I don’t understand why people order rare or medium rare. Why not order carpaccio instead?
Roasted Free-range Chicken for the kiddo. I helped her finish it. This came with soup but I can’t recall what it was.
We didn’t order desserts anymore although I ordered coffee. I felt guilty enough already for eating that slice of bread so no desserts this time. I had coffee because I wanted to stay a bit longer in the resto. You know what, the whole atmosphere of the place makes you want to stay.

There was no day 3 of this challenge. I didn’t get to exercise coz I had to run too many errands that one day was not enough to accomplish all. You might think that it’s still so early in the challenge and I’m already making excuses. I tell you what. I’ll exercise twice on Thursday to make up for Day 3. But really, with all the walking and driving I had to do on Day 3, it can be considered one exercise session already. I kid you not. We left the house at 9am, brought laundry to the cleaners, went to get airline tickets at Cebu Pacific, picked up my nephew from his Lola’s house, went to the grocery, got home, changed clothes, cooked dinner, finished counting entries to my April giveaway, updated my other blogs and only got to lie down and sleep in 5 minutes around 2am. It was such a long day.
Day 4 was not as hectic. In fact, it was the opposite of Day 3. I exercised using the Les Mills VCD for about 30 minutes (which reminds me to buy new exercise videos coz the routine is getting a bit boring), had breakfast of coffee only, took a bath, gave MG a bath, left the house to have lunch at UNO resto in Scout Fuentebella Morato area, went to Trinoma, window shoppped for a bit and bought toiletries before heading back home to take a nap with my nephew and MG. We had dinner late because we were still full from lunch at UNO.
I’m sensing that tomorrow would be a bit relaxed in the homefront. I just need to blog hop and finish some online tasks then I could watch TV the rest of the day. We’ll see if something comes up to rock my relaxation tomorrow. I hope none.
